The workshop spans two days!
Date and time: Friday 7th September (16:00 – 20:00) to Saturday 8th September (9:00 –12:00)
This workshop is for anyone interested in:
- Learning how to still and focus the attention
- Exploring some of the basic principles of consciousness and the mind
- Starting or deepening a meditative practice
The aim in this workshop is that participants become more sensitive to the subtleties of their own experience as a basis for self-knowledge and as a basis for deepening meditative practice. We will draw from the meditative traditions (both East and West) but the approach we will take is not tied to any one tradition. The workshop will be a combination of meditative exercises combined with short presentations and discussion. The workshop is suitable both for complete beginners and for those who already have an established meditation practice. The language is English
About the facilitator: Dr Fergus Anderson is an adult educator, philosopher and meditation practitioner based in the UK. He is lecturer and course leader at Crossfields Institute, and also an Associate Researcher at ibugi, Bonn.
